I’m Selina Jackson, M.A., a dedicated Educational Consultant, Certified Success and Mastery Coach, and author. With over 25 years devoted to improving the lives of children, I bring an extensive background in classroom teaching across all grade levels and a Master’s Degree in Counseling. This unique combination positions me as a leader in child development and education.

I understand these struggles all too well. After losing my mother at a young age and enduring a difficult journey through foster care, I learned the impact of feeling unwanted and invisible. These experiences fueled my determination to ensure no child feels like I did. Today, I aim to give children and educators the tools to thrive and lead happier, healthier lives.

My book, How to Have More CONTROL Over What Happens to You, gives children and adults essential social and emotional skills to navigate life’s challenges. Targeting grades 3-8 but adaptable for any grade level, this resource offers engaging activities and exercises that cover crucial areas such as self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and problem-solving. It also includes practical tips for parents and teachers to support children’s growth, empowering young learners to succeed academically and socially.

For over 15 years, I’ve conducted highly rated seminars and workshops within the school system, earning praise from critical audiences. My commitment to empowering children and promoting positive mental health is evident in every aspect of my work.
